Sage Charmaine pens relatable sexy tunes teaming with wit, sweet melodies and vocals dripping with all things feminine. She’s the new kind of cross-genre artist: a “Sexy Teen Halsey,” crossed with the Lo-fi-vibes of a female Post Malone, the indie rock stylings of Tame Impala, with a dash of old school Paramore.
Sage has learned to encompass her sexiness in her music as a way of empowerment. Writing songs since she was just nine years old, and now at sixteen — she's fine tuned her sound as an artist making for the perfect combo of melodic tunes with equal parts honesty and edge.
Sage released a number of singles in 2018 produced and co-written by PJ Bianco, known for his work with Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Fifth Harmony and A R I Z O N A. Her music video for "Not Really" was premiered in Galore magazine and was directed by an all-female crew, a subject important to Sage. Her biggest song to date, "June," premiered via Girlslife magazine. The release was accompanied by a contemporary dance video directed by Brian Friedman (Britney Spears) featuring Sean Lew and Kaycee Rice from JLo's "World of Dance,” and was choreographed by Emmy Award Winner, Tessandra Chavez.
With two more singles released over the summer of 2018, Sage toured several cities including both East and West Coast. In October, she released a remix of her debut single, “Cherries” with Rocky Lynch (The Driver Era) and “Bitter Chocolate” featuring popular female rapper, Cupcakke.
She played alongside Alec Benjamin at Halloween Spooktacular fest, and was a guest performer at Galore Magazine’s 2018 Halloween Party.
In December, Sage joined Bhad Bhabie on her “Bhanned in the USA” tour as direct support for select cities. Sage will release an EP in Spring of 2019 featuring co-writes/production with Rocky Lynch, PJ Bianco and a feature with Lil Aaron.
